After being shot in the chest by his only true friend, Genny, Ciro sinks into the dark waters of the Gulf of Naples. As he moves deeper into the depths, memories surface in his memory. Faint sounds make their way through the cold embrace of the water, muffled screams of panic. It's 1980. A devastating earthquake collapses buildings. However, under the rubble the cry of a newborn emerges. It is none other than Ciro di Marzio. From that day on he will be known as The Immortal. Years later, Ciro even survives that fateful shot. What they say is true: no one and nothing can kill the Immortal. From his past as an orphan exiled from the Baltic, to his first petty thefts, to gang warfare: Ciro faces everything in a world where immortality is just another form of condemnation.

The cinematic spin-off of the international hit series Gomorrah follows the early life and current exile of Ciro Di Marzio, aka "The Immortal." An unprecedented multimedia project, in which an independent film becomes a plot segment between two seasons of a television series.
