In this action comedy based on true events, David Ghantt (Zach Galifianakis) discovers the true meaning of adventure beyond his wildest dreams. He is an uncomplicated man, trapped in a monotonous life. Every day he drives an armored vehicle, transporting millions of other people's dollars, with no prospect of improvement in sight. The only hint of emotion is his platonic love, Nelly Campbell (Kristen Wiig), his co-worker, who will soon change the patterns of his life. Together with a group of dim-witted criminals, led by Steve Chambers (Owen Wilson ) and with an absurd plan, David achieves the impossible and takes $17 million in cash. The only problem is that he makes the mistake of giving the money to this bunch of savages and that's when everything gets complicated. These criminals spend millions on extravagant and ridiculous luxuries and leave an obvious trail of evidence. Now on the run, David must dodge the authorities, escape from a hilarious hitman, Mike McKinney ( Jason Sudeikis), and take a chance on those who had been his partners and whom he trusted most.

Synopsis
