Six ephemeral art sound sculptures tinged with color and light by the saxophone of the renewed coin printing. Music is an ephemeral, elusive art that must be recreated by performers again and again in the here and now to be heard and seen as it disappears again. To immortalize the music on this album we feel that we have created sound sculptures, our interpretation has solidified to create six masterpieces of ephemeral sound art. All works included on this CD were originally composed for other instruments (violin, viola, clarinet, voice and piano). When performed with saxophone, it gives them a new color, a fresh light of modernity that floods these masterpieces of the chamber music repertoire of all time.
