Recently, several historical recordings have been found among the SFB archives that can be classified as "jewels." One of the most famous is Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3. His discovery was celebrated in the music world. In 1957, Glenn Gould, after his tour of the Soviet Union, ended up in Berlin, which was the scene of an exceptional musical encounter. The most celebrated event was Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3, with the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Herbert von Karajan, in the Conservatory auditorium. This is the first collaboration of these two legendary musicians, extraordinary in many ways as it is the only recording available of their few collaborations. Karajan considered it, taking into account his special affinity with Beethoven's work, as "a masterful performance that he could rarely see again in his life." Masterpiece. Tracklists Disc: 1 1.
