October 1993. Elite American soldiers are sent to Mogadishu, Somalia, as part of a United Nations peace operation. The intentions are to save lives, not mow. But the incomprehensible feudal politics and the famine make them design a mission that consists of capturing the leader Aidid and ending the war at its roots. When the mission begins, everything seems to be going well, until the seemingly invincible Black Hawk helicopters are shot down.
