Synopsis: Commander Reisman is an American officer who has distinguished himself for his bravery in the Italian campaign during World War II. Despite this, its greatest virtue is not discipline; hence the relationships with his superiors are rather tense. However, due to his brilliant military record, they do not hesitate to entrust him with a suicide mission: assault a Nazi fortress and kill its occupants, all of them high-ranking officials of the regime. To do this he will have to subject twelve prisoners to very tough training.
