NEW 2K RESTORATION
In the late 1800s (19th century), on the border between Mexico and the United States, “Silencio” (Jean-Louis Trintignant), a lone and mute gunfighter, is hired by Pauline (Vonetta McGee) to avenge the death of her husband at the hands of Pollicut's thugs (Luigi Pistilli). In turn, he will try to oppose the slaughter that takes place in the area by facing “Crazy” (Klaus Kinski), the most bloodthirsty of the bounty hunters.
This film has been considered one of the best spaghetti-westerns in film history. It has fast-paced action, a remarkable script and Ennio Morricone's music surrounding it all.
