Indomitable Hearts, 1939 (Drums Along The Mohawk)
At the beginning of the North American War of Independence (1775-1783) Colbert and Fonda are a newly married couple who, upon settling in New England, in 1776, as settlers, suffer the harsh situations of the war. They are part of a group of rebellious farmers established in a border area in upstate New York, where they fight against British troops and Indians.
