An ex-convict (Paul Naschy) is looking for work and accepts the job offered by Claude (Diana Lorys), an enigmatic and beautiful woman with a prosthetic hand, to work in an old and secluded house in the French countryside.

They will soon fall in love and share their fate with Claude's two beautiful sisters: Yvette (María Perschy), paralyzed and disturbed, and Nicole (Eva León), dominated by an insatiable sexual appetite.

Scripted and starring Paul Naschy himself and directed by Carlos Aured with whom he had recently filmed “Fright arises from the grave”, this film is the maestro's first foray into the giallo subgenre popularized in Italy by the incomparable Mario Bava (“ Six Women for the Murderer”) and Dario Argento (“The Bird with the Crystal Feathers”).
