

Gotho (Paul Naschy) is a hunchback who works as a morgue manager. Disturbed by the constant mockery of everyone around him, he will only find solace in the kindness of the sweet Frida with whom he is secretly in love. The death of the latter will unleash his madness and he will try by all means to resurrect her.
Horror legend Paul Naschy (“Walpurgis Night,” “Fright Rises from the Grave”) plays one of his most dramatic characters in this masterpiece directed by Javier Aguirre (“The Children’s War,” “The astronaut”) with whom he would also film “The Great Love of Count Drácula ” in the same year.
