The famous writer Truman Capote travels to Kansas to write about the atrocious crime committed by Dick and Perry, two unscrupulous murderers. As he investigates, he will establish a close relationship with the convicted murderers. The data collected in this research will give rise to his best-known work; "Cold-blooded". But the price to create his masterpiece will be to share the secrets of his past and bare his own soul before the enigmatic Perry. Both, although separated by two worlds, will discover that they share something that will change their lives completely. Directed by Douglas McGrath ("Emma" (1996), "Mess in Havana" 2000), nominated for an Oscar for his work as co-writer of "Bullets Over Broadway" with Woody Allen. He plays a brilliant cast of actors, including Toby Jones ("The Night Watch", "The Painted Veil", "The Fog"), three-time Oscar nominee Sigourney Weaver ("Mess in Havana", " Alien , the 8th Passenger", "Woman's Weapons"), Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow ("The Tenenbaums", "Shakespeare in Love"), Oscar winner Sandra Bullock ("The Blind Snide", " The Proposal", "Crash"), Daniel Craig (the last agent 007) or the beautiful Isabella Rossellini ("Blue Velvet", "The Funeral"). The script is by the director himself and is based on the book "Truman Capote: In Which Various Friends, Enemies, Acquaintances and Detractors Recall His Turbulent Career", by George Plimpton, who also participated in the writing of the film.
