Giuliani contributed a considerable number of compositions to the guitar repertoire, appreciated not only for their rich creativity, but also for the virtuosic instrumental effects they contain. This recording features works by Domenico Scarlatti (b. Napoli 1685 – d. Madrid 1757), which reflect both the technical and expressive potential of the guitar. The ending, atypical and still fascinating, is dedicated to Fryderyk Chopin (b. Warsaw 1810 - d. Paris 1849), whose notes from his celebrated Prelude are imposed here.
