Heir to a considerable fortune, good-looking, successful among women, César (Eduardo Noriega) is a boy for whom life smiles. One night, his best friend, Pelayo (Fele Martínez), introduces him to Sofía (Penelope Cruz). César falls in love with her instantly, and has no qualms about breaking up his friend's relationship. It's not difficult for him either. Apparently Sofía and him connect perfectly. But that same night, César meets Nuria (Najwa Nimri), a girl clinging to him in an obsessive and almost sickly way. César tries to get rid of her, but finally agrees to let her take him home by car. Nuria, overcome by jealousy, makes a decision that turns what could have been a sitcom plot into the worst of nightmares, which includes the destruction of paradise when it is put into one's hands. 64-page book edition with texts by Xavi Sánchez Pons about the production, cast and director. Nominated for 10 GOYA awards in 1999, including Best Film and Best Director. EXTRAS • Audiocommentaries by director Alejandro Amenábar • This is how it was made • OST • Teaser • Short film “Luna” • Trailer • Gallery LANGUAGE: Spanish 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo / SUBTITLES: Spanish, English and French
