Synopsis
Cairo, 1917. During The Great War (1914,1918), TE Lawrence (Peter Otoole), a conflicted and enigmatic British officer, is sent into the desert to participate in a campaign to support the Arabs against Turkey. He and his friend Sherif Ali (Omar Sharif) will put their whole soul into this mission. The natives adore Lawrence because he has amply proven to be a lover of the desert and the Arab people.
