María, a 17-year-old girl, lives with her family in a small town north of Bogotá. She and Blanca, her best friend, work in a large rose plantation preparing the flowers for export. María's only distraction is the dances she goes to every weekend with her boyfriend Juan. One day, to the surprise of his family, he quits his job and decides to go to Bogotá. What no one suspects is that María is pregnant. During the trip, she meets an acquaintance who tells her about his lucrative job as a courier in drug trafficking and convinces her to join the gang with her friend Blanca.
