In The Ides of March we will meet Stephen Meyers (Ryan Gosling), an idealist and brilliant communicator who is the second in command of the presidential campaign of Governor Mike Morris (George Clooney), whom he blindly trusts. During the Ohio primary, Tom Duffy (Paul Giamatti), the campaign manager of Morris's main opponent, offers Meyers a job. At the same time, Morris's negotiations to gain additional support from a South Carolina senator stall. And young intern Molly Sterns (Evan Rachel Wood) catches Stephen's attention. The Republicans have several tricks up their sleeve, Meyers may have been overconfident and Molly has a secret. What is more important: the race, the victory or the truth?
