Tilo is a beautiful young woman trained in the ancient and magical art of spices. Ordained with special powers to help those who come to her, Tilo has an amazing ability to sense the problems of others and visualize their future and past. Tilo works in San Francisco, in a small store called The Spice Bazaar where, guided by the advice of her spices, she finds the perfect remedy for everyone who crosses her door. For his powers to work, he must always obey three simple, yet strict, rules: he must only use spices to help others, he must never touch another person's skin, and he must never leave the shop. When Doug, a handsome and enigmatic architect, crashes his Harley Davison outside his San Francisco store, Tilo has to tend to his injuries and his life changes forever. For the first time in his life, Tilo's desires are awakened and he begins to question his existence: will life consist of anything other than helping others? Tilo knows the rules and his spices warn him to stay away, but there are no spices telling Doug what to do and he soon returns to the store armed with a bouquet of flowers to ask the young woman on a date.
