Isle of Wight (Great Britain). Mercy Falls Children's Hospital is about to close its doors after more than a century of operation. Most of the staff have already been laid off and their facilities have been practically dismantled. Amy, an American nurse, arrives in Mercy Falls to cover the night shift while the last children are evacuated to other centers. He soon detects something strange in the hospital. The children are nervous, scared, they talk about something intangible, invisible, something that should not exist, something full of pain and hatred.

Synopsis

Five years after the murder of a girl, when her mother seemed to have begun to stabilize, a phone call shakes her existence: “Mom, it's me... come look for me.” Aided by an ex-policeman and an occult expert, the mother begins a desperate search, the search for a terrifying truth that has remained dormant: a group of hidden people who reject their own name, the empirical science of evil, abandoned houses and isolated ones that hide things, secrets... a trap of abominable evil.
