Willowdean Dickson (Danielle Macdonald) is an overweight but confident Texan teenager. Her mother Rosie (Jennifer Aniston), a former beauty queen who derogatorily nicknames her daughter Dumplin', is the organizer of the new Miss Teen Bluebonnet beauty pageant that she herself won years ago.
