Disc 1 The Road The film The Road is based on the novel by Cormac McCarthy, winner of the Pulitzer Prize in 2007, from which "No Country for Old Men" has already been adapted. The story takes place in an apocalyptic world, in which a father and his son travel to the coast to find a safe place to settle. During their journey they will come across the few remaining humans, most of whom have gone crazy or become cannibals. Disc 2 Millennium 1: The Men Who Didn't Love Women 40 years ago, Harriet Vanger disappeared in the middle of a family gathering at the mansion of the powerful Vanger clan, on an isolated island due to an accident. Her body was never found, however her uncle is convinced that she was murdered and that the murderer is a member of his own family, a united yet dysfunctional family. He then hires Mikael Blomkvist, a disgraced journalist who runs a publication, "Millennium", dedicated to uncovering financial scandals and corruption. Through a series of coincidences, Mikael meets a strange, sullen, marginalized computer hacker, Lisbeth Salander, who will help him investigate the case.
