Any approach to the history of a country involves a detailed study of the rulers who have governed it. Thus, we will witness episodes of deep depression, mental alienation, extreme sensuality or curses associated with names or numbers... episodes that have filled the journey of the Bourbon dynasty through the history of Spain in the last three hundred years with unpleasant experiences. . Like any story, it is full of lights but also shadows... and these shadows - in many cases - had an impact on the way a nation was governed, powerfully influencing the decisions that were made towards a people who were unaware that their kings They were normal people, very far from the image of divinity that was attributed to them in the official chronicles.
