Three Pages from a Diary, released in September 1929, was the second film version of the novel "Diary of a Lost Girl" by Margarethe Bohme. Curiously, the first was performed in 1918 by Erna Morena, an actress who a year earlier had starred in "Lulú", an adaptation of the work by Frank Wedekind that was also the title that brought together the German director GW Pabst and the actress for the first time.
