Reach Me [DVD]

Teddy (Tom Berenger), a former American football player, has written a successful self-help book that has been very useful to a motley group of people dragging their unmotivated existences through sunny California. The lives of several of these characters will intersect without them knowing that they share the reading of the book. Among them we find Teddy's own inept literary agent (Terry Crews); an arsonist recently released from prison (Kyra Sedgwick); a trigger-happy cop (Thomas Jane) and an alcoholic priest (Danny Aiello) to whom he confides his unconvincing confessions; a new artist and editor of an online gossip site (Sylvester Stallone); a group of small-time criminals (Kelsey Grammer, Danny Trejo, Tom Sizemore, David O'Hara); a young and attractive beginning actress (Lauren Cohan) and an actor on the downhill of his career (Cary Elwes); a rapper (Nelly) who is a die-hard fan obsessed with Teddy; and an ambitious journalist (Kevin Conolly) who aims to unmask the fraudulent Teddy while trying to overcome his uncontrolled addiction to tobacco.
