LA HIJA DE MI MEJOR AMIGO (DVD)

David and Paige Walling (Hugh Laurie, Catherine Keener) and Terry and Cathy Ostroff (Oliver Platt, Allison Janney) are friends and neighbors in Orange Drive, a New Jersey suburb. Their comfortable life begins to go awry when the Ostroffs' prodigal daughter, Nina (Leighton Meester), who has just broken up with her fiancé Ethan (Sam Rosen), returns home for Thanksgiving after a five-year absence. Instead of taking an interest in her neighbors' son, Toby Walling (Adam Brody), which would please both families, she focuses on her parents' best friend, David. When the connection between Nina and David becomes undeniable, everyone's lives will be altered, especially that of Vanessa Walling (Alia Shawkat), Nina's childhood best friend. The romance will soon affect all the members of the family, giving rise to unexpected and hilarious situations, making each one reborn in their own way and reconsider what it means to be happy, as a consequence they will discover that, sometimes, what seems like a disaster ends up being just what they needed.
