800 BULLETS – A film by Alex de la Iglesia.
It includes a 32-page booklet with texts by Xavi Sánchez Pons about the Director and the Production.
Almería, Tabernas desert, year 2002. Texas Hollywood is a dusty town in the West where movies have not been filmed for decades. Julián, a veteran film specialist who is back from everything, lives badly there. Other marginalized and hopelessly nostalgic people work alongside him: Cheyene, the cowardly gunman; Manuel, the daredevil double; Arrastrao, the unlucky rider; Hanged man, the sad hanged man; Undertaker, the jinxed Italian; Don Mariano, the owner of the town... and half a dozen gypsies dressed as Indians. They all earn their living by recreating pathetic action scenes for the few tourist tourists who visit the area. Overnight, the lives of these poor devils take a 180 degree turn with the appearance of Carlos, a boy who claims to be Julián's grandson.
