In a society that lives with fear, the solution for some is to survive as cowards
And you, what are you afraid of?
COWARDS is the story of two high school kids, one a victim and the other an executioner.
Gaby is a fourteen-year-old boy who is afraid of going to school. Perhaps his fear is because of Guille, a classmate, who for his part is afraid of disappointing his father. But Gaby and Guille's parents are also afraid. Joaquín, Gaby's father, is afraid of losing his job and Merche, her mother, is afraid of her family falling apart. Guillermo, Guille's father, is afraid of the power that surrounds him and Magda, his mother, is afraid of not knowing her own son. And then there is Silverio, the owner of the pizzeria, who is not afraid of anything. Well maybe to God. And you? What are you afraid of?.
Malaga Festival. Spanish cinema. Critics' Award, special mention from the jury.
