Biopic based on the life of the poet Dylan Thomas, one of the most important cultural figures in English literature of the first half of the 20th century. Specifically, the film focuses on the four-way relationship that the poet had with his wife, with his friend since childhood, Vera, and with her husband. Vera Phillips (Keira Knightley) and Dylan Thomas (Matthew Rhys), a teenage couple, meet again ten years later in London during World War II. The magic is reborn between the two, but Dylan is already married to the cheerful and adventurous Caitlin (Sienna Miller).
