"Elsa and Fred" is a story of late love. A story of two lives that at the end of the road discover that it is never too late to love... or to dream. Elsa is 8 years old, of which 60 she lived dreaming of a moment that had already been dreamed of by Fellini: the Dolce Vita scene in the Trevi Fontana . Same, but without Anita Ekberg but her. Without Marcello Mastroniani, but with that love that took so long to appear. Alfredo is a little younger than Elsa and was always a good man who did his duty. Being widowed, bewildered and distressed by his wife's absence, his daughter urges him to move to a smaller apartment where he meets Elsa. From this moment everything transforms. Elsa bursts into his life like a whirlwind ready to show him that the time he has left to live, whether long or little, is precious and he can enjoy it as he pleases. Fred lets himself be carried away by Elsa's vertigo, by her youth, by her fearlessness, by her beautiful madness. This is how Fred (or that's what Elsa calls him) learns to live...
