This world has already gone through many afternoons and is slowly coming to an end. Within this world, in the far west of the Land of Twilight, there were people who prospered through the use of alchemy. There, in order to survive the eventual arrival of the final darkness, people dedicated their efforts to rediscovering and recreating lost alchemical technologies. The search for these technologies and research on how to stop the twilight are now taking place in the alchemical research city known as Central.
