It could be thought that people are already tired of silly love songs, but I look around and see that it is not so, Paul McCartney sang. And those verses seem to guide Karin Idelson's camera in this exploration of, so to speak, the popular applications of romantic songs. Cumbia, soft-rock, reggaeton, pop, boleros, sticky hits from the 80s and before (that category that an FM labeled as old but nice): the music is in the air of the city, and love song catches it in the places where it is so naturalized that we almost do not pay attention to it, but also, and especially, in the most hidden or unusual ones. Multitude choirs that interpret Queen, restaurant singers, Elvis imitators; the radio that is heard from the back seat of a taxi, the functional music of shoppings or accommodation hotels and a long etcetera registered with undisguised virtuosity, parade in this documentary as curious as playful to give reason to Sir Paul: the world is full of silly love songs, and there is nothing wrong with it.
