Julio Argüelles, son of a well-off family and a secret singer, challenges his paternal authority and marries an actress. Despised and out of work, with his sick wife, he decides to rob his father's house. Then she is widowed and dedicates herself to singing, with her daughter, to earn a living. The young woman falls in love with a boy whose father does not approve of the courtship, because she is the daughter of artists.
