Forced to flee their habitat, in Animals United we will meet a group of animals that, led by a bold rooster, cross the ocean in a rusty bathtub. Their destination: the Okavango Delta, in Africa, one of the last virgin corners of the earth. This natural paradise is home to Billy, a hyperactive meerkat who lives with his wife Bonnie and son Junior. Billy spends his days peacefully playing his drums and walking with his best friend, Socrates, a vegetarian lion who loves flowers and butterflies. In Okavango it is a tradition for animals to wait for water to flood the grasslands each year, and thus survive the stifling heat of the dry season. But this time, no water. Billy wants his son to be proud of him for finding the water that does not arrive, so, together with Socrates, he decides to enter the lands of the feared Death Valley, home of the fearsome leopards. There they will meet Carlos the rooster, and together they will discover a huge dam built to provide water to a luxury hotel complex. At this resort, animals are treated cruelly, and our friends will fight to free them. Inspired by the book "The Animal Conference", by the writer Erich Kästner, it tells how animals, fed up with humans taking away their water for their commercial interests, come together to put an end to this situation.
