Their original name, The Golliwogs, was changed to Creedence Crearwater Revival ( CCR ) in 1967, around the time of their first hits, “Proud Mary,” 2Bad Moon Rising” and “Green River,” all of which are included in this Special Edition. . This collection includes ten of their biggest global hits, including, “Born On The Bayou,” “Down On The Corner,” “Keep On Chooglin,” Travelin Band,” “Sweet Hitch Hiker,” “Lookin Out My Back Door,” and “Fortunate Song.” Their worldwide success culminated when they were voted best group of 1970/71, along with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
