In particular, in the concerts the piccolo fully assumes the solo role, moving with great ecclecticity from unbridled virtuosic passages to delicate lyrical effusions and marked expressiveness. These works are proposed to us in the interpretation of some of the best Italian early music specialists such as the flutists Stefano Bagliano and Lorenzo Cavasanti and the violinist Federico Guglielmo, accompanied with propriety and very good taste by an excellent Collegium Pro Musica.
