'Flying Swords of Dragon Gate' is a wu-xia starring Jet Li in which we are told the story of Chow Wai-on, a rebel who fights against Tsao Sui San, the evil eunuch leader of the East Side, who tries to forge his own kingdom by destroying the rebel clans. The action will take them to the desert, at the 'Dragon Gate' inn, owned by the beautiful Jade King, played by Zhou Xun (The Message). The film, which will arrive in theaters across China at the end of 2011, is a remake of the 1992 film, 'New Dragon Gate Inn' by Raymond Lee, which in turn was a remake of King Hu's 1967 classic, Dragon Inn.
