Knocked Up [DVD]

Allison Scott (Katherine Heigl) is a 24-year-old journalist with a brilliant career. Unfortunately, not everything goes as planned when, after a night out with slacker Ben Stone (Seth Rogen), she discovers she's pregnant. Faced with the possibility of facing motherhood alone or getting to know the father better, Allison decides to give the endearingly immature boy a chance. Ben, who doesn't want to grow up, realizes that he must make a decision: stay or leave. But dating the woman you just got pregnant is harder than it seems. It doesn't take them long to realize that they are not exactly each other's soulmates. To make matters worse, the only examples of young parents are Debbie (Leslie Mann), Allison's harried sister, and hot-headed Pete (Paul Rudd). The young couple doesn't know what to do. Should they raise the baby together? How do you reach a happy lifelong companionship? After a few drinks and a crazy night, they have nine months left to decide.
