Plato, a tough adventurer from Miami, and his best friend Bo are hired to rescue two fugitives who have escaped from a Cuban prison camp. After an intense skirmish with Cuban soldiers, they manage to save one of the escapees, Félix, the son of a powerful Cuban gangster installed in Miami.
But when Félix meets his supposed father again, he shoots and kills him. He also manages to make everyone believe that Plato, who witnessed the murder, seems to be the real culprit.
