Synopsis
During the glamorous 1950s in post-war London, famous couturier Reynolds Woodcock (Daniel Day-Lewis) and his sister Cyril (Lesley Manville) dominate the British fashion world, dressing royalty, movie stars, heiresses, members of high society, debutantes and ladies with the unmistakable style of the House of Woodcock. Women come and go in Woodcock's life, until he meets the young and tenacious Alma (Vicky Krieps), who soon becomes a pillar of his daily life as a muse and lover. His life, until then carefully ordered and planned, is altered by the worst curse of all... love.
