Luisa and Miguel are a couple from Madrid, dating practically since they were children. Already in their youth, in the middle of the Second Republic, both acquired a very different political consciousness: he joined a left-wing party, and she joined the Spanish Falange. From that moment on, their lives will go down different paths... The Falangist director Carlos Arévalo made this film, surely the only one with a clearly Falangist conception made in Spain (the colors of the title refer to the flag). Curiously, two weeks after its premiere at the Capitol cinema in Madrid, in May 1942, and for reasons never clarified, the film was banned by the Franco regime and remained missing until 1996 when it was restored by the Spanish Film Archive.
