The Taste of Revenge
The year is 1875. Louise (Gloria Milland) lives with her husband and three children in a cabin located in a jungle place near the Mexican border. One day when Louise is alone with the little ones, four outlaws arrive, fleeing from justice. They try to steal some horses owned by the couple, and one of them even tries to hug her. When she fights and struggles to defend her honor, her husband Chris Walker (Claudio Undari) arrives, who is killed by the intruders, after a shootout ensues in which two of the assailants also lose their lives, while the others escape. From that moment on, Louise only thinks about getting revenge one day. To achieve this, he encourages hatred and a thirst for revenge in his children.

The Bounty Hunter
Jim Kipp (Randolph Scott), is a bounty hunter hired by the Pinkerton agency for $10,000 to apprehend some train robbers who stole a large loot, leaving three dead and several injured. Following their trail, Kipp arrives in Twin Forks, the neighbors adopt suspicious behavior and no one - the doctor (Harry Antrim), the innkeeper, the sheriff... - seems to know anything about the bandits. To discover the murderers, Kipp spreads the word that he expects a portrait of the gang leader in the mail and everyone begins to get nervous.
