The financial crisis is taking its toll on Pennsylvania farms, whose owners, finding themselves powerless to avoid bankruptcy, end up agreeing to grow marijuana illegally as the only way to avoid going bankrupt. The authorities, surprised by the proliferation of marijuana in the place, investigate the case, and DEA agent Becka Anslinger arrives in the city to investigate the commercial marijuana growing in the area.
