Synopsis:
A nice comedy about a judge (Victor Moore) who unknowingly marries several couples before his accession to the bench is official.
Years later, when couples discover that their links are invalid, the results are hilarious in some cases and disheartening in others.
Marilyn Monroe plays a young mother who participates in beauty pageants and whose husband (David Wayne) would prefer that she stay home; When they find out that they are not legally married, they wonder if it is advisable for them to stay together.
Other couples whose marriages are compromised are two radio actors who never stop arguing (Ginger Rogers and Fred Allen) and a pregnant woman (Mitzi Gaynor) whose husband (Eddie Bracken) has to go to war.
Starring Zsa Zsa Gabor as a devious gold digger trying to get everything she owns from her tycoon husband (Louis Calhern), this classic comedy delves into the true meaning of marriage.
