In the early morning of January 2, 1921, the ship Santa Isabel, bound for Buenos Aires and with 260 people on board, sank off the steep and hard coast of the island of Sálvora, in Galicia. In the absence of men on the island, three young island women, María (Nerea Barros), Josefa (Victoria Teijeiro) and Cipriana (Ana Oca), decide to go to the rescue, saving 48 people, a heroic act for which they will pay dearly. After these events, an Argentine journalist, León (Darío Grandinetti), goes to Sálvora to cover the news of the shipwreck. But little by little he realizes that too many terrible "coincidences" happened that night on the island. There are many unknowns that must be resolved.
