Disc 1:
Fort Apache
Colonel Owen Thursday (Henry Fonda) arrives at Fort Apache accompanied by his beautiful daughter Philadelphia (Shirley Temple) to take command. Thursday is an arrogant and proud officer who wants to stand out and earn honors as soon as possible so he can leave that inhospitable place that he considers a punishment. And he is willing to do it even at the expense of the Indians and his own men...

Disc 2:
The Invincible Legion
Veteran Captain Nathan Cutting Brittles, commanding the legendary Seventh Cavalry regiment, has less than a week left to retire when he receives orders from his superior, Major Mac Allshard, to find and convince the native Indians who have escaped their reserves so that they return to them peacefully. Brittles must also transport Major Allshard's wife and his niece to the stagecoach that will leave for the east of the country. Meanwhile, all the Indian tribes concentrated in the territory plan to join the Cheyennes to declare war on the white man who expelled them from the lands of their ancestors.

Disc 3:
River of blood
Jim Deakins, a trader, embarks with a group of men on a dangerous journey up the Missouri River to search for furs from the friendly Blackfoot Indians. The problem is that they have to pass through the territory of hostile Indians and they have underestimated the difficulties. One by one they are killed.

Disc 4:
Peace Caravan
Travis and Sandy, two young horse dealers, accept the offer to guide a group of Mormons who intend to settle in the West, to cultivate fertile lands. The caravan undertakes a difficult journey through desert landscapes. They are soon joined by a trio of traveling artists, made up of an older couple and young Denver, with whom Travis soon falls in love. But his encounter with the Cleggs, outlaws whom justice is pursuing, will aggravate the situation.

Disc 5:
Blood on the Moon
Jim Garry, lone rider, has a chance encounter with John Lufton and his men. Lufton is suspicious of him, believing him to be one of the gunmen being recruited by Tate Riling, a heartless profiteer who covets Lufton's cattle.
