3:10 To Yuma [DVD]

remake of the classic western of the same name, based on the short novel by Elmore Leonard 3:10 TO YUMA, from which several of his works have been adapted to film such as The Hollywood Game, A Dangerous Romance or Jackie Brown. THE 3:10 TRAIN managed to climb to first place in the top USA in its premiere week.



James Mangold, director of films such as ON LA TIGHTROpe or COP LAND, has been in charge of directing the film and the main roles are played by two Hollywood heavyweights such as the Oscar winner Russell Crow (GLADIATOR, A BEAUTIFUL MIND , AMERICAN GANGSTER) and Christian Bale (THE DARK KNIGHT, THE MACHINIST, AMERICAN PHSYCO). These are accompanied by supporting characters such as Peter Fonda (EASY RIDER, ESCAPE DE LOS ANGELES), or Gretchen Moll (CELEBRITY, FOR THE LOVE OF ART.



Dan Evans (Christian Bale) is a Union Army veteran who is about to lose his ranch due to crop failures.



Fortune offers Dan an opportunity when the famous outlaw Ben Wade (Russell Crowe), a violent and ruthless robber whose gang has been ravaging the Southern Pacific railroad for years, is captured, murdering anyone he finds in his path. But Wade's arrest is only the first step, as he will have to be escorted by a group of highly paid men, including Dan, to the city of Contention. From there, a train leaves with a cell car that will take him to Yuma to be tried in federal court.



This three-day trip will turn into a nightmare because behind Wade's attractive and charming appearance, hides a manipulator capable of taking advantage of the slightest hint of weakness.
