The action of Sierra Barón begins in California when the United States is winning the war against Mexico and General Anta Anna. In 1848, eighty-seven years after the immense "Princessa Grant" ranch was given to Rafael Delmonte by Charles III, his son, Miguel (Rick Jason ), learns during his visit to Mexico that his father has shot dead. As the new skipper of the "Princessa", he finds out that gold has been discovered on the hacienda and that the Yankees have founded a settlement. Accompanied by his cowboys, Miguel heads to the town to assert his property rights.
