Fred Wilson , an important executive at the Petrox Company, a North American oil company, decides to undertake an expedition to find oil deposits on an unknown island. Paleontologist Jack Prescott stows away on the boat that will take them there. Along the way they rescue an attractive castaway, Dwan, who joins the expedition.
