That is the first idea that seems to be translated from this National Geographic documentary that puts Fabien Cousteau, grandson of the famous ocean researcher and intrepid navigator at the head of an investigation that at times seems like something out of an episode of CSI. The attack of the mysterious shark that proposes the title alludes to an event supposedly carried out by a great white shark in the United States in 1916 that served as inspiration for Peter Benchley's novel Jaws and its film adaptation by Steven Spielberg. The matter is curious because historically it was the first occasion in which people entered the water to bathe en masse, as a consequence of a particularly hot summer, becoming protagonists of the first great avalanche of shark attacks in the history of the United States. The documentary also reviews the attacks perpetrated by sharks in what the press dubbed the Summer of the Shark, in 2001.
