Synopsis
When a mysterious gypsy approaches him with a copy of the film Toby shot when he was still a student: Toby is excited and leaves in search of the small town where he made his debut so many years ago. Much to his horror, his little film had terrible effects on the sleepy town; Angélica, the young woman who personified innocence, now works as a high-class prostitute; The old man who played Don Quixote has gone completely crazy and really believes himself to be the knight of the sad figure. A series of accidents culminates in a fire that threatens to destroy the entire town. The civil guard chases Toby, but he is rescued by the crazy old man, who takes him for his faithful squire, Sancho, and takes him across the countryside in search of his Dulcinea. Throughout his odyssey, Toby will have to face demons, both real and fictional, modern and medieval. Damsels in distress are rescued, there are jousts, giants are executed, and women have beards!
