A young German woman befriends an older Japanese woman during a tour of the Fukushima region, an area affected by the 2011 earthquake in Japan. Marie (Rosalie Thomas) has decided to travel from Germany to Fukushima to change her life. With his work in the organization Clowns4Help he hopes to bring a little hope to the survivors of the nuclear disaster. She soon realizes that she is not capable of making the tragedy of those affected more bearable.
